Donate to Our Council
While donations to our council are not tax-deductible, they directly support our charitable efforts—including assistance to brother Knights in need and local service initiatives.

Tax Status of the Knights of Columbus

Council 5011 operates under the umbrella of the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council, a 501(c)(8) fraternal benefit organization. All donations are considered tax deductible.

• Each council must maintain federal and state tax IDs
• Required filings include nonprofit tax returns, 1099-MISC, W-2s, and other employer forms
• Fiscal year ends June 30; tax reporting follows the calendar year (Dec 31)
